Hanami, which means "flower viewing" in Japanese, is their traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of cherry blossoms. There are several weeping cherry blossom trees planted here as a gift to Lima from our Sister City, Harimo-cho, Japan. To truly celebrate Hanami, stop here during the blooming season in mid April. This cache is part of our GeoTrail. Find all 10 caches listed on our website VisitGreaterLima.com to receive an official GeoTrail coin!
