Geocache Description:

One of three caches placed near the River Thames on the Eton Wick side.  I have set these caches up to celebrate successfully completing a week's rowing course practicing along this stretch of the Thames.  Note all caches can be reached from dry land.

The first cache in this series is opposite the Windsor race course which can be clearly seen when looking across the river.

The local area has links to horse racing that date back to the time of Henry VIII, and the first race meeting at Royal Windsor took place in1866.

When looking for this cache do be careful of brambles etc and do be careful not to fall into water when near the bank of the river.
