This cache brings you to Avondale Forest Park, owned by Coillte.
The cache is located in Coillte-owned Avondale Forest. Be warned that to park in the forest parking spaces it costs €5. I'm not certain as to the rules regarding parking outside the gates but some people seem to park there instead. However don't blame me if it gets you in trouble! The forest is really beautiful with many walks of varying length bringing you through the forest. We very regularly bring our dog, Tuath, into the forest and have so for years. This cache is not far down one of the walks. It is the path on the left behind the playground (which is in front of the large house). The cache is about 150-200m down this path. Please abide by Coillte rules and the Leave No Trace policy. I have had trouble with coordinates before so please let me know if they are accurate.
