Geocache Description:

There is 2 ways in getting to this cache, the first is from the road side starting at N 56° 50.760 W 002° 16.638 . Take the steps down and follow the path down the hill. Once at the bottom, turn right and take the path next to the fishing sign. Follow path until you come to a bridge and take it. Follow path until you come to cache.

The 2nd way is by taking the path near the static caravans which will also take you to the bridge which you cross.

The pill box is just around the corner from the cache and worth a visit although people do dump rubbish in it but will give you the idea as to what it felt like being in it.

Pillboxes are concrete dug-in guard posts, normally equipped with loophold through which to fire weapons. The originally jocular name arose from their perceived similarity to the cylindrical and hexagonal boxes in which medical pills were once sold. They are in effect a trench firing step hardened to protect against small-arms fire and grenades and raised to improve the field of fire.
