Toboggan Run Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future (within 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Branstrom Park is probably the most used and beautiful park in Fremont.  Many activities take place here, both in summer and winter.  When I was a child, there was a very active and thrilling toboggan run.  Sadly, it has been closed down for several years.  However, the old cement runs are still there, just a bit grown over in places.  You will need to take a trip to the bottom of this run to start looking.  Take a walk down the run and imagine you can still hear the squeals of delight of many a child as they shot over the drop off on their way to the bottom.  There is plenty of parking at the ice skating/hockey rink. You will be looking for a camoed pill bottle.
