Welcome to May Day Park & Pier
May Day Park & Pier is one of the nicest places to relax, play and watch the sun set on Mobile Bay. It offers a large amount of open space, showcasing its hundred year old live oak trees draped in Spanish moss. With a children's park, picnic tables and grills, bathrooms, boat ramp, public beach and a fishing pier, May Day is a must destination.
About the Park & Pier
The park was dedicated in May 2011 in honor of the late Victor Guarisco, Daphne's longest-serving mayor (1976-92), who is credited for playing a major role in the development of the Jubilee City. Aside from being a memorial, May Day Park & Pier was also created as a way to bring back the May Day tradition to the city.
So bring a picnic, a fishing rod and some sunscreen and enjoy this hidden Eastern Shore gem.
