We are trying to escape the big city and move out to a much nicer part of the country so have been packing our tent and touring around the lake district and yorkshire in search of our ideal home.
We have come across some fabulous places and lovely people on our travels and a few already had cache so we managed to log a few finds ourselves while enjoying our search, but many places didnt have any cache so we decided to leave our own.
So some little tupperware tubs aquired, log books, pencils and our very own little first to find tokens made....all packed up and hidden safely so hopefully our fellow geocachers will go in search for our cache, find the hiding spot and enjoy the location as much as we did.
This cache is the second location in our series....It is at the entrance to a public footpath, which if you follow you wont be dissapointed. Beautiful views and scenery in all directions, although is a bit of a hike if you keep going along the footpath and we came across some fully loaded hikers while we were up here.
There isnt any parking as such although there is enough room for you to pull over if you drive to this location as there is a small layby near the start of the public footpath. So is suitable for the hikers among you as well as a drive by cache and dash.
We loved the views from up here and decided it was an ideal location to drop our very own/first travel bug too and send it on its travels. We look forward to seeing who makes it up here and we hope you enjoy the views as much as we did.
