Geocache Description:

In the woods behind this cashe use to stand a house where an old widow lived. Parents always told kids to stay away from this place. Of course they asked why and parents would say cause shes a witch and any kids caught there by her would never be seen again. Its funny I think the stories your told in small towns when your young. We have lived in this area our whole lives and never had I heard of any kids going missing so we always chalked this up to good ole local legend.

The old bridge was replaced and her home was torn down many years ago but many locals still call this "The witches bridge". This cashe is a short pill bottle so BYOP. There is space to park on the side of the road but be careful if muddy. Hope you enjoyed the story and the spot.
