Geocache Description:

The name of this street is dedicated to John Edmondson VC who was born in Wagga Wagga, NSW.


Edmondson earned his Victoria Cross for conspicious bravery at Tobruk during WW2 .

CPL Edmondson was in a party of one officer and five privates who attacked the gun posts with a successful bayonet charge.

The Victoria Cross is the highest decoration that can be presented to our Armed Forces for valour in the face of the enemy.

 

The cache is a micro with a pencil enclosed and log sheet within a zip lock bag.Watch out for busy periods at certain parts of the day. Good luck and enjoy the history at GZ.
