An easy roadside cache alongside the track the Voortrekkers and early pioneers used on their way into the hinterland. On the west side of the road there used to be an hotel where they could slake their thirst after labouring up the Boesmans Nek passing what is now the Worlds View Look Out and before going onwards further up the hill to Crossways where they could slake their thirst again.
