SQ-Pioneer......Boo! Traditional Cache

We pass this cemetary quite often on our way to our favorite campground or shopping to the outlets.  

This cache is located in Pioneer Cemetery in Howell Township.

The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. Please be respectful of the area and observe their rules and posted hours. Michigan law states that you are only permitted to visit cemeteries dawn to dusk throughout the state unless other hours are posted

The oldest cemetery in Howell Township is located on the east side of the northeast quarter of Section 8. The Marr family designated it as a burial site in 1848.  This cemetary is known as Pioneer cemetary.
