Geocache Description:

Go to historic Mountain View Park in North Logan, find this small geocache, and learn a little history of the park!

Being across the street from the first church in North Logan, and being under dual owndership of North Logan City and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mountain View Park was a popular and beloved park.  Different wards of the LDS Church would play baseball against each other, which becamse a 24th of July tradition, and formed a heated rivalry between North Logan and Hyde Park.

The park and the church across the street were both created in the 1940's.
