Low Fell has a population of 8,636 people. Arguably the most notable resident of Low Fell was Sir Joseph Swan. Swan, most famous as the inventor of the incandescent light–bulb (though also instrumental in improvements to photographic film and rechargeable batteries) lived at Underhill, 99 Kells Lane in Low Fell between 1869 and 1883.
There are many large old houses in Low Fell with long histories. Some of these houses are documented on a plac beside where the cache is found.
The cache is a micro magnetic cache. Please be careful because the area is usually very busy.
