Geocache Description:

SUNY Oneonta, sit a spell

This is the fifth in a series of caches on the SUNY Oneonta campus.

Today we take you in Residence Hall territory to explore some of the pretty landscape around the FYE Halls. FYE stands for First Year Experience, and allows new students to join together in starting their college life and make friends that can last the full four years. Particularly, you will be around Littell Hall, though many of these buildings are built and renovated identically. These days amenities include fitness centers, kitchenettes, and laundry you can view online to see if it's done. No more quarters too!

We also are around the Center for Multicultural Experiences. SUNY Oneonta creates a culture of inclusion, awareness, knowledge, and skills in order to make well rounded and culturally consciencious students. It provides support to students from all walks of life and connects them to the possibilities our global world possesses. The center promotes social and academic events that celebrate, embrace, and enhance one's knowledge and understanding of various racial, ethnic, and cultural communities that comprise the mosaic of American society. It is a place to become part of our whole community.

The Geocache is in a medium traffic area, but may be harder to access in the snow. Feel free to sit a spell in order to confuse the muggles and please replace the cache and it's cover. Bring your own pen and happy hunting!
