In 1968 North Dakota State claimed their Second Football National Championship. This is #2 in a series of Bison Tube Hides commemorating their National Championship Wins.
Before 1973 the NCAA awarded National Championships with a poll following regional bowl games. In 1968 the NDSU victory over Arkansas State in the Pecan Bowl gave the Herd an 10-0 record and their Second National Championship(Small Schools UPI and AP Polls). (#1 http://coord.info/GC6ERH0)
