I will miss all the friends that I will be leaving behind which I've made over the last 19yrs living in Houston. Especially my extended geocaching family and friends. They have become near and dear to my heart.
I have shared a lot of experiences and vacations with my extended geocaching family. I've faced off snakes, climbed trees, paddled with alligators, cached in deadly Houston heat, rain, and even freezing weather (ok it was one day in Houston when it was 29deg - that's a blizzard to a Native Houstonian.)
I've competed in the TX Challenge with many of you even traveled to Geowoodstock with some of you. I've gone to the Block Party with some and even traveled to Brazil to get the last remaining APE Cache (What the hell were we thinking??? Adventure that's what - and what an adventure that was.) I've shared many a story with all of you in the over 100 events I've attended and even a few I hosted in Houston. And I've even cached with many of you, grabbed some FTFs with some of you, completed 5/5's, geochallenges, got Souvenirs, and even shed a tear or two, which I'm sure I will be doing at this event.
I will miss all of you dearly and I wanted all of you to know that each and every one of you have touched me in one way or another. I hope to make it back to Houston at some point to have a geofamily reunion of sorts and if you're ever out in the Sacramento, CA area make sure to look me up and we'll do some caching, have a beer, and catch up on the good times.
