Get ready for Kentucky's first aquatic Geoart.
On several weekends during the year, bungee jumpers leap from the Young's High Bridge near Tyrone, KY. The next jump is scheduled for September 18-20, but this event is not to jump. In honor of the jumpers, Kentucky's first aquatic geoart is a bungee jumper with caches placed on the Kentucky River.

You do not need to paddle to attend the event. The location is a public ramp about a half mile upstream of the bridge from which they jump. Caches will be placed from near the bridge for a few miles upstream. We will not cross under the bridge as part of this event. The geoart consists of 41 caches. Even if you don't want to paddle, please join us for refreshments and announcements at 8:30. If you choose to paddle, we will hit the water at 9:00.
More information on water level, etc. will be posted as the event draws closer.
