Local STARS! Do You Know Me #7 ? Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

iowaPete: Oh MY! It's amazing how much has changed here in two and a half years. This cache was a matchstick holder attached to a foot-long hunk of stiff wire and stuffed into a log next to the steps of the hiking path. Today, the whole lower half of that log has rotted away and the cache? It was just dangling in mid-air underneath what was left of the wood. [:O]

This cache just isn't what it was originally meant to be. Time to say good-bye.

Thanks to everybody who came and chase it...

iowaPete [:D]

Who am I?

If I am 24hawki, then the final coords are at N 31.614 and W 07.722
If I am ptcline, then the final coords are at N 31.845 and W 07.623

After the weekend event is over, additional clues will be added to the cache page in order to make this find possible. The area where the cache is hidden is also a public hunting area, so consider wearing blaze orange in November, and December. Please CITO trash when you find it and enjoy this little puzzle.

**Cache at your own risk**

Geocaching, hiking, backpacking and other outdoor activities involve risk to both persons and property. There are many variables including, but not limited to, weather, fitness level, terrain features and outdoor experience, that must be considered prior to seeking a Cache. Be prepared for your journey and be sure to check the current weather and conditions before heading outdoors. Always exercise common sense and caution.
**Remember to be good ambassadors to nature. We as geocachers have a responsibility to leave it as we found it, so others may enjoy nature's glory. Always replace the cache the way you found it, so others may enjoy the find.
