Welcome to Mission B.C.! Hometown of Carly Rae Jepsen herself!
On August 9th, 2015 myself and the Geobears flew into Abbotsford airport and took a quick detour on our way to the Groundspeak Block Party for Mission B.C.
We did a nice whirlwind tour of Mission, visiting CRJ-related spots like Clarke Foundation Theatre (where she did some of her first musical roles) and found some caches in Fraser River Heritage Park, where she hiked up to the Abbey as a kid.
Being a vinyl collector, I had Kiss, Good Time and Call Me Maybe on vinyl already but had resigned myself to likely never having Tug of War, Carly Rae's amazing debut album, on vinyl. A few months ago it popped up on Amazon and even though I thought it might be a scam I bought it anyway. Finally it came and I was able to finally play this amazing album in all its vinyl glory!
