Überall diese riesen gelben Masten mit den großen Scheinwerfern. Sie alle haben ein Ziel; sie wollen die Flugzeuge sicher zur Landebahn lotsen. Und darunter ist ein kleines, unscheinbares Lichtlein, das auch seinen bescheidenen Teil dazu beitragen möchte. Es gehört eigentlich gar nicht dazu, würde aber sehr gerne trotzdem als "ausgewachsenes" Leuchtfeuer anerkannt werden. :-)
Ihr seid hier am nördlichen Ende der Landebahn vom Flughafen Memmingen, Allgäu Airport.
Wenn Ihr zu den sogenannten "Plane spottern" gehört, dann gefällt es Euch hier sicher. Hier fliegen nämlich genau über Euch die Flugzeuge hinweg! :-)

Lasst die offiziellen, gelben Masten in Ruhe, da ist der Cache NICHT!! Es muß nicht geklettert werden, schon gar nicht über den Zaun!!
KEINE Gewalt anwenden - es geht alles ganz leicht!!
Dose bitte nur leicht zudrehen, sonst drückt es die Dichtung raus und das Ding verklemmt sich...
Bringt bitte einen Stift mit! Für's Logbuch wäre vielleicht noch eine Pinzette gut...

These huge yellow mast everywhere with their big spotlights. They all have one goal; they'd like to guide the airplanes safely to the runway. And among these masts, there is a tiny, unimpressive light, that also wants to do it's humble part. Actually it doesn't belong there, but would love to be accepted as an "full-grown" air beacon, too. :-)
You are at the northern end of the runway of the Allgäu Airport.
If you are one of the "plane spotters", this is your place to be, because the airplanes will fly just over your head!!

Don't touch the official, yellow masts, the cache is NOT there!! There is no need to climb, expecially not over the fence!!
Don't use force - everything opens easily!!
Please close the lid only loosely, otherwise the seal will stick out too much and the whole thingy will get stuck...
Please bring your own pen! Maybe for the logbook you'll also need tweezers...
