My family fell in love with this area after finding another geocache in the park. I felt as though the park could use one more cache to encourage visitors to explore the complete trail system. There is a small parking lot available at the entrance to the park.
If you take the correct trail, your feet will remain nice and dry. You're looking for a small camouflaged Lock & Lock type container. The cache will accommodate small trade items. Be sure to bring the bug spray. If you bring the little ones, please be aware that there is an open pipe roughly 8 inches in diameter that a foot could slip into. It has a depth of about 3 feet. Just keep an eye open for that, and you'll be all set. Outside of the pipe to look out for, it's a gentle walk from the parking lot to the cache location
