This geocache was hidden on the third year anniversary of when I found my first geocache at Sibley State Park on 8/5/12. This cache was also hidden on the day I accomplished getting into the ranks of the top 100 geocachers in the state of Minnesota with 5,800 finds! This cache is located along the Dairyland Trail which runs 5 miles from Elrosa to Greenwald. The trail is gravel and is open to hikers, bikers, and horseback riders. No motor vehicles are allowed expect snowmobilies in the winter. I put suggested parking coordinates at the trailhead in Elrosa but you can also park closer along 398th Street. The cache is located just off the trail in a grove of birch trees a little over a mile from the Elrosa trailhead. Cache container is a 0.50 Caliber ammo box and contains a "Guardian Penguin of Broken Keys" Travel Bug, which I picked up while caching in Manitoba last week. This cache is not winter friendly. Please replace this cache exactly as you found it including the appropriate cover. And most importantly, have fun. It's about time the Dairyland Trail had a geocache on it!
