Staw Dąbski powstał na terenie wydobycia gliny dla cegielni, która działała w okresie międzywojennym. Na jego terenie występuje rzadka fauna i flora, wiele gatunków objętych jest ochroną. Wśród zwierząt to różanka pospolita i szczeżuja wielka, rośliny reprezentuje grążel żółty.

Dąbski pond is in the place of former exvacation from where a clay was sourced for brick factory. There’s a lot of rare fauna and flora representatives, including scrictly protected species: abur bitterling, swan mussel and nuphar lutea.
