This cache should be a fun hunt that will bring you to overlook a hidden-away residential airstrip in South Anchorage known as "Sky Harbor Airstrip". It also has surprising panoramic views and on a clear day you can see peaks in the Aleutian mountain range.
Only a small portion of Alaska is reachable by roads, so airplanes, boats and sleds are the transportation of choice for most of Alaska. Alaska has by far the highest rate of airplane accidents in the US, but the Federal Aviation Administration has to allow less safe standards in Alaska than elsewhere because air travel is so important and weather conditions are rarely ideal.
From the cache you can see how this airstrip runway must be one-way in and out, and that the houses on the west side of Cange Road can drive their airplanes straight across the road to get to the airstrip.
