The Lord of the Rings was filmed in New Zealand and Sir Peter Jackson took advantage of the spectacular and beautiful forest and river scenery at Kaitoke Reserve to create movie scenes depicting Rivendell from the book. At this site there are a number display boards and poles with information. Everything you need to find this cache can be found on or near this site. You will need to locate each of these displays, gather relevant information, plug in the numbers and leave Rivendell in the footsteps of the Fellowship of the Ring.

Unfortunately my second hiding place has been completely destroyed and I have had to shift the cache about 50 metres away to another final location. I am going to leave the questions and answers the same. But to locate the final hiding spot you will now need to add .009 to the south coordinates and subtract .021 to the east coordinates after solving the initial coordinates.
