If you've geocached in New Brunswick, you may be familiar with Ma & Pa's Mirco Logic series (e.g. GC1TNFR). I recently enjoyed solving and finding several of them. It seems there are no Micro Logic puzzles in Nova Scotia. This geocache is an attempt to remedy this problem, and also to recognize the tremendous work that Ma & Pa have put into their series and many other hides.
In a message from Ma & Pa, I learned this: I created the name for our first cache of that type. They have all been micro containers and a bit of logic may be needed to solve them.
You can get the coordinates by solving the following.
The nine letters (A-I) represent the digits from 1 to 9. No two letters are equal.
The geocache is hidden at N 45° 04.X, W 064° 25.Y. Once you've found A-I, you can find "X" and "Y" as follows:
- X = ( I * G * H * D ) - ( D * H )
- Y = ( A * E * G ) + D + ( B * I ) + ( C * F) - F - H - G
