AQUEDUTO DAS FREIRAS
Perto da zona da Mãe de Água, localiza-se o Aqueduto das Freiras, que, no passado, teve grande importância histórica, para esta cidade (outrora vila), uma vez que integrou a rede de abastecimento de água que serviu o antigo convento situado no Largo da Freiras; o Poço do Homem e o Poço da Mulher, muito frequentados para banhos.
Nas suas imediações foi criada, recentemente pela Junta de Freguesia da Conceição, uma pequena zona de estar, a Área de Lazer do Aqueduto das Freiras, com disponibilização de mesas e bancos
Este novo espaço e recreio está localizado na margem esquerda da ribeira da Ribeira Grande, entre a ponte de Trás-os-Mosteiros e a Mãe d´Água. Trata-se de um percurso paralelo à ribeira que, desde há muito, se encontrava completamente obstruído e intransitável.
Nesta zona também se localiza o Percurso Pedestre dos Moinhos (toço: Trás-os-Montes-Mosteiros-Mãe de Água).
SOBRE A CACHE
Esta multi é composta por dois pontos (o primeiro e o GZ).
Deverá visitar o way point 1, onde se situa o Aqueduto das Freiras.
Aí deverás encontrar o valor de X, que corresponde ao número de janelas/frinchas, que existem neste aqueduto.
A partir daí e com o valor de X, irás encontrar as coordenadas do GZ.

AQUEDUCT OF NUNS
Near the water Mother of the area, located the Aqueduct of the nuns, who in the past had great historical significance to this city (formerly Village), since integrated water supply network that served the old convent located in Largo da Nuns; the Well Man and Women's Well, much frequented for bathing.
In its vicinity was created recently by the parish of Conception, a small sitting area, a leisure area of the Aqueduct of the Nuns, with available tables and benches.
This new space and recreation is located on the left bank of the stream of Ribeira Grande, between the bridge of Tras-os-Monasteries and Mother d'Água. It is a parallel route to the river that has long, was completely blocked and impassable.
