Geocache Description:

We're not Munro baggers ourselves. We did around 50 or so when we were younger but then children came along and it became less important. That and the distance. Unlike geocaching, when you have cleared your local area it isn't as if someone will kindly publish a new series of 12 Munros close to home!

Anyhoo, we saw that the old cache here had fallen into disrepair, so we decided to replace it with something more durable. The difficulty level may seem high but we struggled to get our GPS and phone to agree. That said, we'd hate for anyone to have a DNF, so if you are really struggling please drop us a PM via the app, or an email and we'll try to reply ASAP with some additional help. The coords were averaged over 15 minutes using our Garmin. Interestingly our phone (which is usually pinpoint accurate) gave an answer 9 metres different (!). We've attached its answer as a waypoint in case this helps anyone. Looking on satellite map it might actually be more accurate, so please let us know what you find.

As Munros go it must be one of the easiest. Years ago we climbed it from the Rest and be Thankful, where the route up is short but sharp. This time round we climbed it from Inveruglas, where the only slightly challenging stretch is the pull up from Allt Coiregrogain to the 'three ways'. We've never climbed from Succoth but have done the constituent bits of it. Definitely the easiest route, with no hard climbing at all.

The views from up here are astoundingly good in all directions. As always with walking in the Scottish mountains, you must be properly prepared. Boots, waterproof clothing and at least a GPS, OS map and compass. Redundancy is best. Near GZ if visibility is poor be careful of potential significant drop-offs. There is some shelter from any wind at the summit for your picnic and cup of tea.
