Here's the thing. You BOTH will AND won't be going straight ahead with this cache.
First, the virtual point. You will want to go straight there. Or not. You might be able to see it on Google Earth. Or you might have noticed it while in the area. But you will want to go there to take a measurement. Specifically, you will want to calculate a bearing.
Some ground rules: Do NOT attempt to go straight there here from the Interstate. (NY Traffic 1209a would likely be the violation.) Plus, keeping safe is non-negotiable!! In fact, once you figure out how to approach it, don't even walk the rocky slope. You should stand atop the hill on the dirt, a mere 6 meters away, to take your reading. You'll know what to do. Once you have your bearing, go 200 meters in that direction.
Of course, you BOTH will AND won't want to go straight there. There might be some nature in the way. But, once you get there, however you get there, you should find a cache.
