Cache is located in Deam Lake State Park. NOTE****IF THE GATE LEADING TO THE BACK HALF OF THE PARK IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. THIS ADDS ANOTHER .9 MILE TO THE HIKE.******
Park in the campground overflow parking lot. Take the trail from this lot. It is .8 miles to cache. This is a loop trail. The trail will split. One way descends to a creek and then climbs to the summit with a gut busting hill. The other way climbs more gradual with a tough climb the last 1/8 mile. When you reach the highest point of the trail at the exposed rocks, climb over George E. Hublard for the view and to find the Lock & Lock.
