The Green's Folly Traditional Cache

This cache can be found off the beaten path very near the sports ground.   It is within a quick walk from the car park and easily found by those who like to walk just off the beaten path but not far from it.  Look for the hairy, ivy covered rock nestled in the trees just off the main path on the way down to the Corrib.  Down by the water you will be greeted by an amazing view and a nearby river trail.

One our favourite places to go for a walk in Galway.  Along the way there is a fantastic view of Menlo Castle, the Tea Folly, and a lovely river trail through a wooded area which extends along the Corrib.  The trail extends behind the business park, Dangan Nursery, Corrib Village, and continues on to the college.  This is one of our favourite walks in Galway.  It's our first cache so please excuse the folly pun!

Look for the hairy, ivy covered rock nestled in the trees just off the main path on the way down to the Corrib.  This is a family friendly cache containing geocaching stickers, balloons, and small toys.  It is a small takeaway container sized cache.  Please sign the log book and put back the cache and arrange the rocks so it isn't obvious but not impossible to find either.
