Geocache Description:

Set in the midst of the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges, this cache is in the heart of an endless succession of trails stretching for dozens of kilometres west of Alice Springs.  Very quiet and near pristine--there's always the chance of seeing kangaroos, particularly at dawn or dusk.

This is the second geocache in a planned series of caches placed in an area where I used to run the hills with my dog and sometimes my oldest daughter.  Bum left hip now means it's hiking only with wife, grandkids and dog.  Always pleasurable and good for the soul.  Enjoy!
