White River Roadside Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

islagringo: I have had to replace this cache 3 times due to muggles. I can't keep doing it and it is not fair to geocachers to keep looking for something that may not be there.

Geocache Description:

This beautiful roadside park is in honor of Harold T Rice who was considered the "dean" of the Michigan Highway Construction.  He retired from the department in 1972, after 41 years of service to our beautiful state.  The park is used for fishing from the shore and is popular spot to put in or take out kayaks.  There are several picnic tables availabe as well as stand alone charcoal grills.  There is a drinking fountain with constant running water as well as public toilets.  This park is closed in winter.  This can be a high muggle area so proceed with care when the park is busy.

It was really hard to get the exact coordinates for this and you will understand why when you find it. The cache is on the east side of the river, definitely in the park.
