Gulfdassie: It has been far too long since I have been back to Dubai and unfortunately not been able to maintain the caches, sadly eventually it has reached that point where too many DNF's simply mean that this is another cache that will need to be put to bed forever - this one is also now archived.

Geocache Description:

A cache located in an area that, at the time of placing did not have too many caches around. Placed in the hope that it encourages people to explore this inland area - rich in rocks instead of sand.

We came across this spot and suspect it is a former quarry complex complete with a small worker's accommodation block. There are many quarries around this area and it is always good to see the "back room" operations of the UAE. Also, we foudn it ironic that to quarry rock, you have to build structures first - out of, yes, rock!

We were also admiring the random tiles in the bathroom blocks!
