Geocache Description:

The trail starts as a nice flat wide stroll but changes to a fairly steep uphill single track that tops out at 2440' elevation

**NOTE**

I am going to leave the original description by Big Steve but I have updated the Coordinates. Even though it was listed as a regular cache it was in fact a multi that was placed in 2001, it is now a regular cache. the orange orb in the sky was the 76 sign visible across the freeway.

Big Bad Trucker...

You are going to have to follow a few clues on this one, the coordinates that I gave are to the first waypoint, from there, follow the clues. When you arrive at the first waypoint you will need to find the burned out stump of an old tree, it will have 6 ( six ) old roots visible, stand directly in the center of the roots, you will need to find the ( orange orb in the sky ),that was a clue, when you do, take a( back azimuth) , clue, now place an imagiary clock face in front of you, at the 6:00 position you should see a small rock outcrop, that is where the cache is. If you decide to bushwack be careful, it is steep and slippery, you can backtrack down the trail to find a small game trail on your left, it will get you closer. Inside the white 3" diameter, 13" long tube with yellow caps on both ends find the usual log book, letter, pens and pencils, also a nice folding knife in a sheath, zippo lighter, key ring and a cell phone belt clip. The tube is just stashed in some bushes, easy to find when you get there.**NOTE Checked this one 12/26/01, This one has been a good one but a tough one from the beginning, changes were made, location was changed etc, I repackaged the leaky container today, added a new log book, now it's located in a Black Cylinder with a White top 15" long and 6" in Diameter, read the log and you will see the changes, but to simplify things, go to the original lat. and long.from that point check out the view, it's wonderful, enter new coordinates N 34.20.870 X W 118.34.36 it's an easy find, just make sure you camo the cache after you find it. HAVE FUN ! Big Steve
