Geocache Description:

A walk along the coastal footpath from the Sound to Port Erin. The trail can be followed in either direction, we recommend starting at the Sound as the climb from Port Erin is steep. Unfortunately dogs are banned on this path which is permissive only, not a public right of way. The path is narrow and close to steep drops in a couple of places. Buses run occasionally but check the timetable!

Well done, you've done the hard bit, it levels off for a bit now. If going N to S it gets rough from here on, but at least mainly down hill. Going north you keep on the outside of the fence until the next stile, the fields open up then but keep to the path. Excellent views of Bradda Head on this next stretch.

This cache is low down on the field side of the stile, Sound side. A Bison type, loosely tied to the woodwork, sorry about the gorse if it manages to get you!
