LAUGHARNE COUNTRYSIDE ADVENTURE DETAILS:
Church Micro 8045...Laugharne
Welcome to St. Martin's Church!
While you are here, why not take some time to explore the fantastic grounds of St. Martin's Church?
St. Martin's Church was built in the Norman time and has been restored twice; once in the 15th century and then again in 1873. It is a large picturesque cruciform building, situated in some hilly ground with lots of nooks to explore. If you enjoy poetry, then you will be very interested to learn that this is the final resting place of the famous poet Dylan Thomas, who had strong ties to the wider area of Laugharne. You can visit his grave at the adjacent yard.
