Bottesford Arboreal Traditional Cache

Unless you know your way around the village, you are advised to avoid term time weekdays, at standard school travel times, as this area gets very busy with school buses and parents cars heading to/from the village schools, all of which have to use this small cross roads.

Local Cachers, 'BottesfordCrew' placed a very clever cache 'Please Notice Me' quite near here in 2014; but unfortunately it only lasted 6 months due to high Muggle activity and was perhaps doomed to a short life because of it's design.

We would have loved to replicate that cache because it was such a brilliant idea; but after careful consideration we can see no way to give it a long life, considering the difficult nature of that hiding place.

So this is quite nearby, but a more traditional hide, placed to give us something in this part of the village. As is often the case, this cache will take you to something that is usually passed by unnoticed by the great majority.

2022 Update.

Over the past 7 years, since placing this Cache, the commemorative plaque which was a bit over the top in praising a local Councillor for her years of service, has become quite illegible, rendering the Hint pointless. So the hint has now been changed
