Ottergirl_FCL and Paddy the Geoterrier will be at the benches, inside the fenced area of Churchdown park ponds, from 5 pm until 6 pm on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August. We would love to see you there. If it is a nice evening, why not bring a picnic! There is a group of benches and tables where we can sit. It will be good to catch up with cachers, hear tales of Road Trip exploits and to trade Trackables.
Churchdown park has seen some drastic changes over the last 5 years. What used to be a playing field for local football teams now boasts a popular skate park attracting skateboarders and BMX riders from far and wide; a Kids BMX circuit; an all weather Multi Use Games Area and landscaped enclosure with wildlife pond and reed beds.
Please note that although dogs are welcome to run loose and chase balls on the main field, they must be on short leads within the pond area and must under no circumstances be allowed into the ponds! if it is a hot day there is a brook close by that dogs can paddle in to cool down. There are plenty of poo bins round the field too if required.
If it rains there are some trees nearby that might offer shelter!
