Meet and Greet

Funchal, Madeira

Wir sind für zwei Wochen auf der wunderschönen Insel Madeira und würden uns freuen, andere Geocacher kennenzulernen!

Wir treffen uns für 30 min. im "municipal gardens", genießen die Sonne

und bewundern die üppige, tropische Vegetation im Park

und erzählen von unseren bestandenen Abenteuern und bevorstehenden Touren auf Madeira.

Wo?

N 32° 38.846 W 016° 54.704

In der Nähe der Koordinaten ist ein Ententeich mit einer Statue mit zwei spielenden Jungen. Es ist ein bekanntes Foto-Objekt. Wir treffen uns neben dem Teich an dem großen alten Baum.

Hier gibt es auch einige Bänke, wo wir im Schatten sitzen können.

Im Anschluß können wir in eine nette Bar in der Nähe der "municipal gardens" gehen oder den ein oder anderen Cache in der Nähe suchen oder beides.....

We are on the beautiful island of Madeira for two weeks and would be happy to get to know other geocachers!

We meet for 30 minutes in the "municipal gardens", enjoy the sun and admire the lush tropical vegetation in the park

and tell each other of our passed adventures and forthcoming tours in Madeira.

In the vicinity of coordinates there's a duck pond with a statue of two playing boys.

It's a well-known photo object. We meet next to the pond at the big old tree.

There are also some benches so we can sit in the shade.

Afterwards we can goto a nice bar near the "municipal gardens" or look for caches nearby, or both...
