Bellevue, PA is a great small town and has a lot of history behind it. This cache is meant to bring you to an area that was once a heavily travelled road which has been destroyed by nature, time and gravity. Unfortunately there is a good amount of trash near GZ and the old road leading to the cache is in very poor condition. Most of it is destroyed however in many spots you can see the old sides of the road and some parts of sidewalk remain. The old terracotta pipe still exists in a lot of places and is cracked and destroyed in other places. Hurricane Ivan also did some fairly heavy damage down in this area. The trail can be dangerous and is not recommended for small children. At times I'm sure it will be very muddy and I would not recommend this at night either.
Once you get to ground zero you will find the remains of an old foundation. I believe this could have been an old train station along the train tracks. Do not approach this cache from the tracks. You will want to approach the cache from the top where I have set the additional waypoint. The container is a pill bottle with a log inside. No room for trackables. Please feel free to post pictures in your log showing the state of the wall or the condition of the road as it usually gets worse each time I am down this way walking the dog. You may encounter some muggles as some locals use this old road to go to the river and fish. The road is treacherous in some places so use good judgement coming down here!
