Duchess Gee would like any cachers to attend the event in her Ancestral home of Houghton-le- Spring on Sunday 20th Sept 7.00pm til 9.30 pm approx at the Wetherspoons pub the Wild Boar.
It takes its name from the towns logo which also has links to the Apostle of the North Bernard Gilpin.
Lots of local memoriabilia in the pub including Houghton Colliery s banner.
There is a corner of pub which has been reserved for us.Typical Wetherspoons grub and drinks available.
Houghton is an ancient Market town with a historical old Church and a modern dual carriage way slicing it in half.
There are one or two caches in the vicinity.
