This cache is located along the stretch of white river off of SR 67.
Once you paddle to the location you will need to exit your boat to find the cache.
This trip down the river is very peaceful and full of beautiful scenery.
Keep an eye out for Bald eagles as there are several that call this stretch of river home.
There are several options for river access and parking for this river adventure.
POSSIBLE LAUNCH POINTS
· The first optional launch point is the bait shop across from Wilbur Road on SR 67.
o There is parking available here.
o The bait shop charges $5 per boat to launch there which is very reasonable.
o The owner is a very nice guy.
· The Second optional launch point is the bridge on the 39 bypass.
o There is parking available here.
o There is a short hike down to the river from the parking area.
POSSIBLE EXTRACTION POINTS
· The first optional extraction point is the Smokey Road river access.
o The road ends up turning to gravel and curves at the end near the access point.
o There is parking available here in the form of a gravel area next to a farmer’s field.
o From the bait shop, it is about a 3 hour paddle to here.
o From the 39 bypass bridge, it is about a 2 hour paddle to here
· The next optional extraction point is the Paragon Road river access in Paragon.
o There is plenty of parking here.
o From the bait shop, it is about a 5 hour paddle to here.
o From the 39 bypass bridge, it is about a 4 hour paddle to here
o From the Smokey Road access it is about a 2 hour paddle to here.
