Tonight the gang decided to meet up at a local park. It is one of the city's most popular festival. Vendors , street meat and best of all live music. I being the second to last to arrive , due to work, was walking towards the bandshell when Nora called ne. She was coming along the trail where the fountain is. The two of us continued towards the bandshell together.
We found the group under a big Oak tree sitting on blankets in the shade. We were far enough away from the stage so that we could hear each other talk. It wasn't long until the conversation went back to what had happened to Jen's friend. As Jen was telling us all the events of the last couple weeks Jonathan seemed distant. Both George and Sophie noticed it also. What Jen had told us was very detailed account of what was going on. Olivia says it really sound like something in an Ellery Queen episode. Once she said that Bruce starts on about the TV series starring Jim Hutton and David Wayne. Bruce goes on and tells us it aired in 1975 and ran to 1976. I tell them my favorite episode was the Adventures of Veronica's Veils. Nora starts on about the Ellery Queen books she has read.
The second band of the night just went on stage and they started off with the theme from Hawaii Five 0. Funny how everything seems to fall into place. Sophie was a little on the quiet side tonight. She did speak up and ask does anybody have the time. Jonathan replies its 9.10 Olivia say to Jonathan nice watch is it new. Before Jonathan could answer Jen says it is a very nice watch. Banacek had one just like it.
