The Spire of Dublin is a large, stainless steel, pin like monument 121.2 (398feet) in height located in the centre of O’Connell Street in Dublin.
The Spire was designed by Ian Ritchie Architects. It is constructed from eight hollow tubes of stainless steel.
The pattern around the base of the Spire is based on a core sample of earth and rock formations from the ground on which the spire stands. It was created by bead blasting the steel through rubber stencil masks.
The final piece was put into place in January 2003.

GPS very jumpy here so I’ve included a generous hint.
North Earl Street is a busy pedestrian street so the need for stealth is reflected in the difficulty rating
