Following the success of two previous CITO events in Portsmouth, the Countryside Service of Portsmouth City Council have kindly agreed to allow geocachers to help clear a stretch of the coastal heathland near to Fort Cumberland, Eastney, Portsmouth.
Please arrive shortly before 10am on SUNDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 2015 so that a health & safety briefing can be given as well as litter pickers and bags given out. We will be aiming for completion of the CITO by 11.30am. You may wish to bring food and drink although there are facilities in the general area. Parking is available at the co-ordinates but you can also access the location by foot or bike. There are a number of geocaches in the area that you may also want to attempt before or after the CITO. Enjoy the day and help improve the environment.
For those that attended the previous CITO at Hilsea Lines, there will be a return of the 'Log Book' that was available so come and join in the fun again
