Beautiful cosy little park in Langebaan

Meet me on the platform of the Lagoon Halt for a ride of your life.

TOMMY THE TRAIN

We found this little gem of a park in Langebaan, we met an old lady in the garden busy planting new shrubs.

She told us that she looks after the park as she lives close by and do it just for the love of it.

Can’t we all be like that.

She told us that her grandchildren love this park and that she brought them here to play as it’s only behind their home, so she started to look after the park. Her grandchildren are now grownup and she still looks after the park.

There is also a railway track for TOMMY THE TRAIN that take the kids on a joy ride around the park.

TOMMY THE TRAIN runs every last Saturday of the month and then the park is a hive of activities
