This is a NANO series I hid with my family in honor of Troy Montana. September 2015 marks 100 years since the incorporation of this little town. Each cache is hidden at a location where you will learn more about the history behind Troy. I hope you enjoy the little tour.
Tree: 6/6 The final stop along this historic trail will leave you at the town Christmas tree. Wired with lights in Dec 1931, this tree has been lit every year except once during WWII. This is the largest LIVING Christmas tree at 150 years old and over 80 feet tall. Every year Santa and his wife ride down to meet the town's children under this tree. If you did all six of the historic Troy caches then congratulations! I hope you enjoyed visiting our little town learning all about how it came to be this little piece of heaven on earth.
