Du kan parkere ved Saga skole, adresse Aspemyra 12 -14, 9517 Alta. Skogvannet og området rundt er et mye brukt utfartsområde for Altas befolkning. Her fins bålplass, benker, gapahuk, brygge og infotavle med kart over turløyper. Ved P-plassen er det også plassert en infotavle. Derfra følger du merket sti (rød/blå maling på trestammer). Når du kommer til Skogvannet følger du røde merker på trærne langs folkestien.
Cachen er en boks med logg, blyant og bytteting (helst unngå å bytte inn hårspenner og "prinsesseting"). 
You can park at Saga school. The address is Aspemyra 12-14, 9517 Alta. Skogvannet and the surrounding area is a popular hiking area in Alta. By the lake, you can find a bonfire pit, benches, a pier and an info-board containg a map over nearby hiking trails. There`s a marked trail from the parking lot, follow the red/blue painting on the trees. When you reach Skogvannet, you'll have to follow the red marks on the trees following the trail "Folkestien".
If you visit the area in July/August, I'll recomend you to bring some mosquito reppellents.
The cache is a box that contains a log, pencil and trading objects (please don't trade typical "girls stuffs")
