We have kept the caches, of the highway section, well off the road. Keeping in mind safety to pull off and back onto the highway. Considering it's 100kph, very few actually stick to the speed limit so be careful. Once off the main road, it's really easy going and laid back with very little traffic. All access on this leg is suitable for all vehicles.
Over the hill (the way some of us old folks sometimes feel), down the straight. This one is a little out of the way but worth it. Keeps you on a quiet road that leads to one of the larger wineries around Mudgee. Another one of our caches is right near another part of this winery. So if you have found Galloping Grapes, this will give you an idea as to how big this winery is.
